[Statlist] European research projects

Dear colleagues,

   a group of European statisticians plans to submit a 
proposal for a research network "Statistics for Evolving
Systems" to the European Science Foundation, 
see http://www.esf.org/programmes/call 

   I have tentatively agreed to be the coordinator for
Switzerland and thus should collect a list of researchers
that would like to be included in the final proposal. 

    Some topics mentioned in the proposal are: Modeling,
Inference and Forecasting for Stochastic Processes, Functional
Data Analysis, Sequential Decisions, Computational Methods
(Particle Filters, Adaptive MC), Applications in various
areas. Statlist does not allow to send attachments, if you would
like to see the draft proposal, just send me an email.
 
   In case you are interested to participate, please let
me know as soon as possible. I will then send the current
draft of the proposal to you and discuss the further procedure. 
The deadline for submitting the proposal is 30 October 2006,
17:00hrs CET. I realize that this is quite tight, and I 
apologize for not having written this email earlier. 

   Since I do not know who is on Statlist, please ask 
people who might be interested in this.
