Montréal sollicite des candidatures (possédant un doctorat en 
statistique, en biostatistique ou l’équivalent) pour un poste de 
professeure ou de professeur à temps plein au rang d’adjoint en 
statistique. Une expertise en biostatistique est un atout important en 
vue de la nouvelle option en biostatistique de la maîtrise en 
statistique

The Département de mathématiques et de statistique is seeking 
applications (from candidates holding a Ph.D. in statistics, 
biostatistics, or equivalent) for a full-time tenure-track position at 
the rank of Assistant Professor in Statistics. An expertise in 
biostatistics is an important asset in view of the new option in 
biostatistics of the Master program in Statistics 
(https://admission.umontreal.ca/programmes/maitrise-en-statistique/presentation/). 
The ability to participate in institutional projects in data science or 
in big data is an advantage. Teaching at Université de Montréal is done 
in French, but the university provides support for newly-recruited 
faculty to attain proficiency in French (see the announcement for
