Scientific Collaborator 100% - University of Geneva
For its new Master Program in Business Analytics
(http://cms.unige.ch/masters2/businessanalytics/), the Geneva School of
Economics and Management (http://gsem.unige.ch) is seeking a full time
scientific collaborator for the building up and supervision of classes
of practice (exercises, programming, data collection), and the
supervision of research projects during students internship.
The scientific collaborator will join the staff of the Research Centre
for Statistics (http://www.unige.ch/gsem/rcs/) and will work under the
supervision of the Masters program director, Prof Diego Kuonen.
This position offers a variety of tasks, from gathering scientific
material for the class preparation, the supervision of students during
classes and also during their internship, the relationships with the
companies representatives (multinationals with headquarters in Geneva)
and the participation to the student recruitment process.
The candidate should hold a Ph. D. in statistics or in another related
domain, with some research experience in data science and/or applied
statistics, with teaching experience preferably at the masters level
and be fluent in English.
Starting date: First of August 2017 (can be negotiated).
Length: One year with possibility to renew each year with a permanent
position after three years.
Annual salary range: CHF 101376 to 137068 depending on working
experience.
