Some places still available, register now for the course "Some hot topics in contemporary statistics“.
The course will take place in Neuchâtel, at the Swiss federal statistical office, on 13th June 2016.
The aim of the course is to provide an overview on four topics through relevant information and some good references. Two topics related to public statistics and two more general ones will be covered:
- Small Area Estimation, Isabel Molina (Univ. Carlos III, Madrid)
- Causal Inference, Mateo Rojas-Carulla (Univ. of Cambridge / Max Planck Institute, Tuebingen)
- Wage Inequalities, Mihaela Anastasiade (Univ. of Neuchatel)
- Big Data, Thibaut Lienart (Univ. of Oxford)
Price: CHF 130 (with lunch)
